I am working on IDoc AAE to REST scenario, receiver system is rest based web server runs on JDEdwards. i have got XSD file for the Target Structure. When i execute GET operation the message is successfully delivered. When i try to do POST/PUT/DELETE operation the message fails with HTTP 404 Server not found error.
Am i missing something in the REST adapter ? or the issue is with network or URL ? Please guide.

I am getting Error - 748 during RFC connection test in SAP ECC to SAP PO 7.4 JAVA only. I have got the details as it is because of Gateway security parameters in SAP PO, like to know where we need to maintain the parameter "gw/acl_mode" to 0 ? is that we need to log in to server to do these changes ? step by step guide will help.

Message is failing but the alert is not coming to my mailbox, the Job status is in error.
1) Created Alert Rule in ID
2) Properties in Java System Properties
3) Job scheduler in Error status
I am not sure, what could be my mistake due to which the job is in error status.
Please advice to resolve this issue.

Hello Experts, We are in the process of migrating interfaces from PI 7.1 to PO 7.4. For one of the inbound interfaces (File to Idoc) the special characters (ø ö ä å) are not populating correctly in the Idoc. We have tried the following steps till now – Source file is of the format .txt and encoding of the source file is ANSI. We have assigned the value ISO-8859-1 as the encoding format in sender channel and executed the scenario end to end. Note: Target Idoc XML payload carries the special character values as expected but the content in Idoc is having the special character values messed up as seen below - 1.png(Image) We have changed it to UTF-8 as the encoding format in sender channel and executed the scenario end to end. But now, target Idoc XML and the Idoc are not carrying the special character values correctly. 2.png(Image) Could you please help me out on how to proceed with this further? Regards, Uday.

I am trying to set up alert in SAP PO 7.31 Java Only as mentioned in the michals' blog.
Job monitoring shows the alerts are processed but no mail.
SMTP details, from and to email IDs are all correct.
Any ideas what might be missing?

we have imported idoc from ECC to PI and configured required configuration in 7.4.
we are getting below error while we are trying to post and IDOC from PI to ECC.
can you please guide us to resove this issue.

I have multiple file-->po-->idoc scenarios. In the mapping I am populating control record field SNDPOR value correctly. But during runtime it is not getting picked. To make this worked I am populating SNDPOR value in idoc communication channel (override Idoc control headers). Any idea why it is not picking from mapping ? How to solve this problem ?

We are currently on version PI 7.1 and we have bunch of interfaces using Axis adapter in our SOAP receiver communication channels.
We are planning to upgrade from PI 7.1 to PO 7.4 pretty soon and i need to find out if we will need Axis adapter on PO also or i can use REST adapter or something else for this functionality.
The module I am using for Axis is :

and parameters i am using is :

We are planning to setup the Archiving for the XML messages in our Process Orchestration 7.4 system with store type local file system.
Could some one clarify us on few queries over here which are as below.
1. If we use the local file system to store the archived XML messages, what are the actions need to be taken if file system is full,
do we need to clean up the file system manually or is there any automated method to do the same?

My company is running a centralized SAP PI/PO AEX and BPM (7.4), java only, to which many internal systems connect. We have a new requirement to process messages from external vendors. Corporate Security is insisting that we have the external users authenticate in the DMZ. With this stipulation, our options seem to be limited to building an AEX in the DMZ with a load balancer in front of it, whether it's Cisco or SAP WD. The problem with this is that we also are trying to limit the complexity/footprint of the applications in the DMZ (simpler apps have less maintenance needs). An AEX instance will require failover capability and a database both also in the DMZ.
Can we do this with the SAP Web Dispatcher alone in the DMZ? I have read the document regarding SAP Web Dispatcher Security and it seems that, although we can provide layers of filtering, there is still no authentication capability.
Are there alternatives that I am missing here?

Has anyone integrated SABA LMS with SAP PO. I am trying to use the sender REST Polling adapter to fetch some data from SABA.
On authentication they have two ways i. Fetch Certificate/ session id and ii. OAuth
Both this authentication are two step approach, first send the user id/ password, in response you get a certificate/ session id which I need to use in the HTTP Header while making the actual call.
In OAuth2 also pass consumer secret to get Authorization code, then use authorization code to call authorize webservice to get Access Token. Then use this access token to make the actual REST API call.
Can this be achieved in the Sender polling REST adapter.

We have a interface for inventory adjustment from RMS to Webserver in which we are picking 5000 records for each poll interval and these 5000 rows updated successfully according to audit log.But when i check in the payload the number of records are decreased to 4900 and these 4900 are successfully inserted in Webserver. Kindly let me know why these records are missing.
I have mentioned transaction isolation level as serializable.

Could you please share your ideas on how to import an HCI project from HCI tenant into HCI WebUI.
NOTE:It's custom developed project in eclipse and deployed into HCI tenant.
I tried the option of downloading the project into local machine and then importing the same file into HCI webUI ,but it's(WebUI) not accepting the file.

As of now we don't have PI/PO in our landscape .So for writing custom Functions in mapping I need to go for Groovy script.
I have a simple requirement of string array concatenation .
Below is my code snippet for the same:

}I executed the above code in standalone groovy console ,its working fine .I created the custom function in mapping and used the above code -->save
Now when I click on "ExecuteChecks" or when I deploy the project it's showing error in mapping @custom function that I used saying "
Mapping contains incomplete expressions"
But I can able to see the file in the folder.
Seems groovy script file is not loading into functional library while executing checks or while deploying into tenant.
Dear HCI experts could you please advice.It would be really helpful for me as well as others those who are new to using groovy script in HCI. Looping in @Sujit Hemachandran .

In our organisation we are having a scenario where in which, it is required for us to use Client Channel Definition Table(CCDT) for one of the JMS Scenarios.
We followed the below blog and performed the same steps as explained. But getting an error saying "Error connecting due to missing class: java.net.URL"

We are facing this error only for this JMS channel and all other JMS channels are working fine.
Do we need to install any other JAR file for CCDT configuration..??
