SAP PO and remote NW Portal

Hello everybody!

 

 

We are planning to install process orchestration, and one of the aims is to manage BPM tasks.

So is it possible to integrate BPM which stands on PO with remote SAP NW Portal or it is mandatory to use local portal?

From this source Configuring Business Process Management with the UWL - Configuring Business Process Management - SAP Library I can see that it is possible to use remote BPM system like a provider in portal but is it possible to create system connection in portal to AS Java?

Also I found some articles which says that it is possible to use FPN (federated portal network) but it is not our case.

 

I'll be glad if someone could explain it

PO 7.4: NW BPM How to create Data Objects.

Hi,

I am trying to develop a flow using NW BPM.

 

I have created a inbound Service interface in ESR which has external definition as message type. When I import it in BPM(using import WSDL option) , it created namespace and service interface within, which is perfect,    but  it did not create any data type under Data Types section.

 

My question is, how to create Data Objects artifact if service interface is developed using external definition.

How versioning and transport NW BPM in PO7.40

Hi all

 

we plan to use NW BPM in PO 7.40, however PO7.40 is the only Java component in our landscape, there is no other Java stuff. Thus there is no NWDI setup and we do not intend to install NWDI.

 

Now the question is how can we versioning BPM without NWDI DTR, and how can we transport BPM to QA / PRD?

 

as for transport, I guess we can just deploy BPM from NWDS to QA / PRD (certainly not the good way). As for versioning, I absolutely have no idea how to do without NWDI.

 

Anyone can shed some light on this? is it possible to properly DEV NW BPM for PO7.40 without NWDI? if yes, how you've done it or suggest?

Change log for Tables in JAVA stack

Hi,

 

We are moving from PI 7.1 to PO 7.31 env, to single Java stack. We have few custom tables in ABAP stack today which we will need in JAVA stack as well.

Hence the question is, how is change log handled for tables in JAVA stack. Is there any document, blog etc that explains this?

I tried searching the forum but could find anything relevant for this. Any help is appreciated.

Problem During Operation - trying to cancel BPM process

Hi,

 

We are trying to cancel a in progress BPM process thru managed process - actions - cancel and we are getting "problem during operation" problem. 

 

Is there any way to cancel this BPM process aside from the Managed process?

 

most of the solution says that we should use tcode SWWL but this is on single stack (java only) installation.

Hello Experts,

 

Need assistance on below failure

I have created the BPM scenario following the William Li Blog.

 

PFB details

I have  added the SAP AS Java successfully (Go To > Window> Preference> SAP AS Java)

Rest all configuration done accordingly.

NWDS Version: 7.3 - EHP1-SP14-PAT0001

PO: 7.4 SP05


Build was successful whereas Deploy got failed

Multimapping Vs Enhanced Receiver Determination

Hi Experts,

 

Ignore my Ignorance i have a few stupid questions

 

 

1)Please give any documents on multimapping scenario implementation

 

2)I Know enhanced Receiver determination is available from SP06 of 7.0 is it available in ICO too? from which version of PI

 

3)Is my understanding right that multimapping(1:n) and enhanced receiver determination both can be used to send data from one sender to multiple receivers...

 

4)If yes then why we need two diffferent methods any advantage or special use case of any method over the other?

I need to get the sum of all quantities coming at item level. (E1EDP01-MENGE)

 

Since items can occur "n" number of times, how to achieve this ?

 

Can I achieve through graphical mapping ?

 

If not could you please help with UDF ?

limit bpm that is in progress

is there a way we can limit the number of "in progress" BPM running? I looked at Process Instance Memory Threshold however this is only a threshold for warning and error out bpm process.

 

We are experiencing a low in memory problem specially if the full GC is executed and I'm thinking if we can limit the processing this way.

Hybris Implementation

Hello All,

 

We are implementing hybris application in the O2C Area.

 

SAP ECC will send the idocs(Customer,Product Master) to SAP PI and SAP PI will send the IDOCS to Hybris Data Hub using HTTP/HTTPS protocol.

Hybris Datahub will receive the data in form of IDOCS.

 

Can some assist me how the Datahub IDOC definitions will be defined in PI, whether Datahub will provide the XSD's or some other way?

Hello Experts,

 

Has anyone worked on the Alert consumer Job called "AlertConsumerJobV2". This has a description "Simple alert consuming solution for generation of emails. Enhances and replaces the job AlertConsumerJob. It offers additional parameters and the possibility to use an email template.".

It says that you can use template for alert email. If anyone worked, can you please share the steps? Thanks in advance.

Axis libraries deployment issue

Hello SCN Team,

 

We are on PO 7.4 and trying to install axis jars, but getting an exception during deployment.

 

We have followed the procedure as provided by SAP in Note 1028961.

 

The JDBC drivers have already been deployed to the system successfully and working fine.

 

Error Message:

 

 

Deployment: Aborted

 

Runtime name of Component
[sap.com~com.sap.aii.af.axisproviderlib] is changed from
[com.sap.aii.adapter.lib] to [com.sap.aii.af.axisproviderlib]. Please, first
remove this DC and proceed with deployment.

 

If anyone has encountered a similar issue please provide your
valuable inputs.

 

We have tried the below options with no luck.

NWDS, Telnet deployment methods.

 

 

Increasing the version in Manifest file of SDA.

Issue with IDOC_AAE Receiver channel configuration

Hi Experts,

 

After going through many unanswered blogs with same issue , I am opening a new thread.

 

I am working on a migration project and the interface is working fine in production(PI 7.1). But, testing the same interface in PO Sandbox(7.4) system is showing errors as mentioned below -

 

Error if configuring through NWA -

Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection AFW failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.idoc.exception.IDOCAdapterException: IDoc: Connection factory name for channel CC_IDOC_R_Common is null


Error if configuring Manually -

MP: exception caught with cause com.sap.aii.af.idoc.exception.IDOCAdapterException: Sender Partner Number is not available


**Points to be noted while analyzing the issue are mentioned below. Please go through and give your inputs -

1) Compared the payload of Production(7.1) and Sandbox(7.4), Output payload is getting generated and everything seems to be fine in mapping. In Sandbox, the control records are coming in the payload along with the generated IDOC. In Production, control records are not coming in output payload.


2) Added the component in header mapping in Sandbox, same as in Production. (INTEGRATION_SERVER_XXX)


3) Changed the property of JavaIdocAdapter in NWA, default sender port set to the port created in we21 in ECC system. Is this correct? or we need to put port of system? (mentioned in one of the SAP notes)


After trying many options mentioned over scn, still I am unable to resolve this issue.

 

Please guide me to solve this issue.

Success factor issue

Hi Experts,

 

My scenario is Success factor to SFTP server. When I am trying to retrieve the data from Employee central using success factor (Sender adapter)  I am getting the below error .

 

Login was not successful .iaik.security.ssl.SSLSecurity certificateException:Peer certificate rejected by ChainVerifier

 

The link used to connect to Success factor

The query used to retrieve the data

 

SELECT person, personal_information, address_information, phone_information, email_information, employment_information, job_information, compensation_information, paycompensation_recurring, paycompensation_non_recurring, payment_information, job_relation, accompanying_dependent, global_assignment_information, direct_deposit, national_id_card, person_relation FROM CompoundEmployee

 


When I do the telnet its pinging .

 

Pls guide me if i am  missing any steps in SAP PO .

NWDS 7.3 SP16 Logon to ESR failed

Hello colleagues,

I decided to update NWDS to a newer release (from SP11 to SP16) and came across the issue with logon to Enterprise Service Repository. The setting are absolutely the same as for SP11 (I just copied everything from Windows->Preferences->Web Services->Enterprise Service Browser)... what can it be?

How can we provide an integration solution for differentiating communication between

In case of retail business it should be directly with retailer

In case of wholesale it should be with trading parties .

 

Is it possible to achieve it using BRM ?
