Hi All,
I am using PI 7.4 AEX single stack. I have configured SOAP to Proxy synchronous web service Scenario.
I am using Soap -ui to test end to end. I can see call is coming to PI but its failing while using HTTP destination to trigger the proxy in ECC.
Below is the screen shot of message log created in PI. Please suggest what could be the reason of this error.

I have an issue configuring a simple File Adapter Content Conversion, it will be great to give me some support as I'am new in the PO Environment.
Iam reading a flat file and trying to write into an XML in the same FTP server
I have a 1 to 1 Mapping as follows
And my Content Conversion at Sender side Looks like this
After running the configuration Iam getting following error message
Error: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.RetryControlException: Receiver Determination did not find any receivers at all
My System is the SAP Netweaver Process Intgration 7.4 single Java stack
Do you have any idea how to fix this issue?

We have configured CTS+ in Solution Manager with SAP PI 7.31 SP 10 (Java Stack). while importing in Quality we are getting following error
"com.sap.aii.util.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException: Reading GDI ... FAILED. Source is not well formed. SAXParseException at line -1, column -1. Details:
Message: Generic Exception:
Stacktrace:
com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.NestedSAXParserException: Generic Exception: -> com.sap.aii.util.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException: Parsing generic data instance: begin of unexpected element script! "
Please let me know is there any configuration need to be done or how to find the root cause of the error.

Hi All, I created two users with full access with all roles in UME. But it is not available inside NWDS 7.3 SP11 PAT0002. I checked this http://scn.sap.com/thread/2065698 and http://scn.sap.com/thread/2084577 blog and ensured that everything is right, but still I'm not getting the user id inside NWDS which I created inside UME.
Can you please help or point out what could be the reason?

I am busy with a project for IDOC2JDBC scenario.
In the best case scenario things are working fine, and i get the recors to the external SQL database.
My question is, if there is an error occured in the sql statement or other JDBC error, the communication channel should send an error message to the IDOC sender of the backend ECC.
I am following this tutorial ( http://scn.sap.com/community/pi-and-soa-middleware/blog/2012/03/25/michals-pi-tips-component-based-message-alerting).
How can i specify the backend as the receiver for the alert, or is there another way of doing this task?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am new to NWBPM with PO 7.3.1 although I have experience developing on PI and some ccBPM. Over the last 2 days, I have been trying to look for blogs on NWBPM that are easy to follow. Unfortunately, I came up empty. Please share the links if you have any.
Specifically, I am looking for detailed step by step procedure as I don't know much about the subject:) So far, most of the blogs are NWCE oriented. Other NWPBM/PO blogs are rather brief and hard to follow or require third party products like SonicMQ that I don't have. Any blog like the classic interface sync to async bridge that uses soap -> file, for example, that you are aware of?

I am working on SFDC integration with SAP PO AEX.
I have gone through various posts/discussion on salesforce integration but I have still one open query and so writing this.
1. Is it always mandatory to get session ID from salesforce to proceed ahead with various calls?
2. Do we need to specify any user and password to get the session ID or we can send any constant?
3. I have seen guys using a JAVA mapping for getting the session ID in the SOAP Header. Is there any alternative as I am poor in java.
4. In SHort if anyone can provide me step by step procedure for an interface I will be really obliged as I have less time.

We have connected to a SAP 4.7 system via a Gateway server due to firewall restrcitions. This works, see below.
However, when I attempt to import an IDoc I am unable to as the dialog I am presented with only allows me to specify the Application Server and Instance #. This doesn't work, I am just presented with errors (I know the credentials are correct).

What are the generic roles available?
What are the display only roles?
How to know what roles we need to give when we create a user in PI java stack? (I know it depends on thier need or what action they perform)
But is there anyway to find list of roles for developer, Administrator?
I'm okay with ABAP stack but Java roles are bit confusing.

I have an requirement , mail to Proxy scenario. Many messages are failed in PI at mapping level due to To Field is missing. Is there any way to check whether To field is present or not, if not move the mail to another folder without read.

I am going to use PO 7.31 Single Stack.
I have to build a N:1 scenario on Eclipse based NW-BPM editor.
Experts : Below is my requirement.
WebService Source 1 [ Address Information ]->
-> NW-BPM [ Mapping to combine data from Source 1 and Source 2 ] -> ECC Target
WebService Source 2 [ Personal INformation ]->
Source 1 and Source 2 has a common correlation ID [ Employee Number ].
NW-BPM Should wait until data from source 1 and 2 will arrive.
Is it possible in PO 7.31 Single stack NW-BPM ? If Yes then how? Please point me to right examples.

I am busy withe the IDOC2JDBC scenario through PI.
Our server is PO 7.4 single stack (Kernal version 7.40.3xxx.3xxx.2xxxxxxxxxx)
I sometimes had some probles withe the message status "DLNG" (Delivering), and after the restart of the communication channel or the JAVA stack, the messages status changed to "To be delivered", or canceled with errors or i canceled them manually, and the message process start working as normal and, when one create or update happens in the backend ECC, i received the data to the external Data warehouse through JDBC.
Last two days i had 5 messages stucked in the Delivering status, and they blocks the other messages to process, because, i can not cancel them. All the other messages comming now are put to the status "To be delivered", and nothing has been written to the external data ware house. I restarted Com. Channel, JAVA stack even the whole server. The status does not changes.
I can see the log of receiving messages in the IDOC sender communication channel through RWB cc monitoring.
There are no logs in the JDBC receiver channel.
I refered the sap note 1623356 no use.
One article says
On newer versions or SP level of XI/PI, it is possible to release the threads held up by the "Delivering" messages by stopping the corresponding channel. This will require the correct version/SP level as described by OSS note 1604091.
This note is for max version 7.31. It means there sould be a similar solution for PO version 7.4 too.
We are completly blocked at this moment.
Any kind of suggestions are appreciated.

I am into a new project and the client want to implement sap PO with latest version of 7.4.
now according to my understanding, sap PI 7.4 in not available and SAP PO is available in SAP NW 7.4.
Kindly suggest me if i want to install SAP PO 7.4 a standalone java instance.
i have downloaded SWPM10SP05_5-20009707 and in that i found the PO.
but the required kernel and java components would be of NW 7.4.
Please help me in this to install it.
Error 1: Bean IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS not found on.
Error 2: As suggested by many colleagues and blogs we removed the JCO RFC Provider and then we got the “Program ID not registered” error in SM59 connection test.
I tried all the suggestions given in the blog http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-31398.

We are getting a strange issue while trying to post IDOC into ECC through PO 7.31 Single Stack.
We are having a custom segment in IDOC with a single field.If we don't create that segment in PO,i.e. if we don't map this segment the IDOC is getting posted.But if we map the custom segment(setting SEGMENT=1),we are getting error "com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.conn.idoc.IDocParseException: (7) IDOC_ERROR_PARSE_FAILURE: An IDocIllegalTypeException occurred while parsing IDocXML for type <*IDOC_NAME*>:
state=READING_SEGMENT_STARTTAG, charPosition=834, lineNumber=1, columnNumber=835".
I have gone through other discussion in scn related to this exception,but they are not similar to our problem.
Please suggest.

Hi All,
We are implemeting a NW BPM process for the first time and we followed the below link:
We added the SAP PO server through management console.
But during deploying the process,we got errors.
[Error ]: [#0]: Deployment Exception during deployment phase [DeploymentException], cause=[ASJ.dpl_dc.001085 Operation [deploy] of [demo.sap.com_dc_XXXX] failed]
SAP PO version is 7.31 EPH 1 SP 8, while that of NWDS is 7.31 EPH 1 SP 10.
Can you please let me know:
-Is it version incompatibility?
-Is it relevant to admin rights or something? Also the admin rights, if any?
Also possibly the steps to integrate SAP PO with NWDS.
