Upsert (POST) into EC from PI/PO
Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to build an integration using PI/PO to upsert data into EC from a third-party application.
Using Juno Eclipse, I have modeled the OData structure for EC and created the schema. However, I need to pass the structure (contains multiple repeating records) from PI/PO to EC using the SuccessFactors receiver adapter.
The SuccessFactors receiver adapter is configured with Operation Type as "Upsert (POST)" but how would I pass the schema structure using the "OData Resource Path"?
Is there a way to dynamically pass the structure within the "Odata Resource Path" parameter?
Is this even possible or do I need to use the SOAP Message Protocol instead of the OData Message Protocol?
Thanks,
Dave
Transfer huge amounts of data (fastest way on secured connection)
Hi,
what is the fastest way to transfer huge amounts of data on SAP PO?
I have no doubt that FTP is faster but I am checking on these ones
SFTP
HTTPS
FTPS
I can't see any comparison of all three protocols with regards to the speed of transfer?
We are dealing 100k+ of files with around 200kb file size to be sent on a regular basis to our 3rd party partners and would like to know what is the best approach that we could take.
Thank you.

PGP Configuration
Hi All,
We are in process of configuring PGP for our SAP PO 7.4 Landscape.
I got all configuration related information but have few doubts about PGP -
1) I checked that when we generate public, private certificate for our SAP PO system suppose on Dev system then same certificates can be copied to QAS system and can be used for PGP configuration
But my confusion is normally anywhere certificates are server dependent like we use SSO, SSL then how certificates generated for PGP can be used on all servers and in case all certificates are independent of server then how at target like on fusion, Team will identify which server is sending data.
2) I saw that there is an addon on my PO server - PI SFTP PGP ADDON, But I am not sure if this server plays any role for PGP configuration.
3) PGP configuration generates a directory .gnupg under sidadm home directory, Does this directory contains imported certificate information of third party system or anyother our local system specific configuration also resides in this directory.
Please suggest.

BPM action queue settings, where are they?
Hi,
Can someone please point me to the place in NWA which describes where I can change settings of the BPM Action queue. Specfically, I need to change the Polling Interval.
On help.sap.com I have only been able to find the following:
In the BPM Queue Settings , you can see the current polling settings in the system, such as the polling interval, the number of actions that are polled per process, and the maximum number of attempts per action. If polling is disabled, you will get a notification containing a link to the SAP NetWeaver Administrator application, where you can enable polling and edit the polling settings.

We have a collection scenario where a conditional start BPM process is collecting a certain number of mesages and then sending them as a bulk message. The process is running for a long time because it seems to be taking 1 message from the BPM action queue , every 5 seconds. We need to improve this performance and believe that descreasing the polling interval is the answer.
Any other ideas are of course welcome.

Mapping Issue
Hi Experts,
we are working on ECC-PI-DATABASE
your requirement is we have one field in sender side (Deletion indicator) in ECC some times in this field have the value and some time doesn't have the values.
If the field have the value we process otherwise we will process null value to target stretcher
I tried using EXISTS node function and equals function and ifwithelse function but i didn't get
Please let me know how we configure in mapping level

I get a BasicIndexOutOfBoundsException when importing a bpmn model
I'm trying to import a bpmn model (Process Development perspective), but I'm getting the following exception:
The file I'm trying to import ends with the .sca extension. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I do remember something about updating your dependencies when having problems. Where do I do that?
Migration PI 7.0 -> SAP PO 7.50 sda deployment "component cannot be installed"
Hello,
I try to deploy an bespoke adapter module developed for PI 7.0 (I think EJB 2.1) on PO 7.50.
It is assembled as sda file. (used to deploy sda to PI 7.0)
I get an error "component cannot be installed".
Do I have to convert it to sca file?
If yes, what needs to be done to do so?
Thanks

PO Response Time
Hello All,
I am doing PO - SalesForce integration. I am working on a Synchronous call (Outbound) , just need to know what would be the PO Waiting Time, until it gets the Response from SalesForce?
and Do we get Session Timed Out error, if the Response msg is not reaching PO withinh a Time frame?
Can we set this (Response Time) parameter anywhere in SAP PO?

Upgrading PI 7.1 to PO 7.4 dual stack - ccBPM
Hi Team
We are migrating from PI 7.1 dual stack to PO 7.4 dual stack.
1. Will existing ccBPM work as it is? Or some change/configuration/steps are required?
2. Will other ID and ESR objects work as it is or some change is required?
3. Any other concerns or fixes I should be aware of?

Synchronous SOAP to JDBC scenario in SAP PO 7.4
Hi Folks,
My scenario is SOAP to JDBC and JDBC to SOAP. Order no is the input parameter in SOAP and the JDBC should send the information of the order no. Here I am using SAP PO 7.4 version. I found few blogs and step by step screen shots but they used SAP XI/PI not PO.
Here I created 2 Data Types for SOAP (Request & Response) and 2 Data Type for JDBC (Request & Response), similarly 2 Message Type, 1 Service Interface, 2 Message Mapping and 1 Operation Mapping (which has both the message mapping in Request and Response tab).
In integration builder created a Sender communication channel for SOAP and Receiver communication channel for JDBC and Integrated Configuration.
Issue I am facing here is when I try to execute the SOAP WSDL i am not getting the output. I am getting the error
<context>XIAdapter</context>
<code>ADAPTER.JAVA_EXCEPTION</code>
<text>See log trace with id: n/a</text>
In monitor im seeing this message
Returning to application. Exception: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error encountered while executing mapping: com.sap.aii.af.service.mapping.MappingException: Mapping failed in runtimeRuntime Exception when executing application mapping program com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_Info_Response_To_Order_Response_; Details: com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf7.IllegalInstanceException; Cannot create target element /ns0:MT_Order_Response. Values missing in queue context. Target XSD requires a value for this element, but the target-field mapping does not create one. Check whether the XML instance is valid for the source XSD, and whether the target-field mapping fulfils the requirement of the target XSD
Please guide me.
Thanks in advance,

NWDI in DEV and CTS+ for Transports
Hi Team,
In our project requirement we have proposed NWDI Installation in Separate SAP AS JAVA to support PO/EP Developments and application lifecycle management.
CTS+ will be used for further transports.
Kindly confirm if NWDI installation is required for other environments also. QA or Prod?

I want to get data from one database (using select query) and same i want to insert into another DB(using SP).
In mapping level not required any validation, so planning to go for pass through scenario
Is this possible achieving through pass through scenario?
As there is an option to call SP at message mapping only with out mapping how can i call SP.
Kindly suggest
SAP PI to PO migration Pre implementation and implementation activities.
Hi Guys,
I am new to SAP PI/PO Technology and I am basically from IBM middleware background and assisting my team here in PI to PO migration and need some inputs from experts here about what are the Pre and implementation activities required. What things we should look at into to prepare a migration strategy.
you guys inputs would help us create high level plan and things we may need look into before migration.

How versioning and transport NW BPM in PO7.40
Hi all
we plan to use NW BPM in PO 7.40, however PO7.40 is the only Java component in our landscape, there is no other Java stuff. Thus there is no NWDI setup and we do not intend to install NWDI.
Now the question is how can we versioning BPM without NWDI DTR, and how can we transport BPM to QA / PRD?
as for transport, I guess we can just deploy BPM from NWDS to QA / PRD (certainly not the good way). As for versioning, I absolutely have no idea how to do without NWDI.
Anyone can shed some light on this? is it possible to properly DEV NW BPM for PO7.40 without NWDI? if yes, how you've done it or suggest?
Thanks
Jayson
