SFTP - Chunk Mode - Splitting files randomly

$

Hi,

Working on splitting a large input file (~1 GB) using SFTP Adapter (provided by Secure Connectivity add-on). Enabled EOIO & specified the chunk size. During run time, the very first chunk appears to be randomly chunked with premature end of tag. This is causing message mapping failure. Please suggest.

Something like this with missing </Item> end tag which is available in the source file and it is coming up in the second chunk:

  <Item>

SAP PO 7.5 Alerts problem with Office365

Hello everyone,

I’m facing a problem with the alert configuration in a SAP Process Orchestration 7.5 with an Office365 mail server.

I followed Michal’s blog http://scn.sap.com/community/pi-and-soa-middleware/blog/2012/03/25/michals-pi-tips-component-based-message-alerting and everything is working fine but sometimes (most of the times) the server is returning the following error:

Error.jpg

But other times the alert is working fine and reaching mi inbox correctly:

OK.jpg

This is are my Java Mail Client properties:

MailProp.jpg

What is really strange is that with the same configuration sometimes it works and sometimes not. Has anybody faced this issue? Do you know how to solve it?

Thanks in advance,

Aketza.

Upsert (POST) into EC from PI/PO

$

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to build an integration using PI/PO to upsert data into EC from a third-party application.

Using Juno Eclipse, I have modeled the OData structure for EC and created the schema.  However, I need to pass the structure (contains multiple repeating records) from PI/PO to EC using the SuccessFactors receiver adapter.

The SuccessFactors receiver adapter is configured with Operation Type as "Upsert (POST)" but how would I pass the schema structure using the "OData Resource Path"?

Is there a way to dynamically pass the structure within the "Odata Resource Path" parameter?

Is this even possible or do I need to use the SOAP Message Protocol instead of the OData Message Protocol?

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Experts,

My alert is working fine and email is getting generated but it is coming in very unpresentable format.

I am using AlertConsumerJob for scheduling my alert jobs.

**Also, I have a requirement where I need to pull data from the payload. Is it possible?

For eg - If we want to bring idoc number from idoc control record to email.

Please let me know your inputs on this.

Hello Experts,

A very good day to you all.

We are supposed to start fresh implementation on SAP PO7.5 and need your advise on the version of SAP NWDS to be used along with the help on its installation.

We have studied that SP02 for NWDS7.5 overcomes all the gaps from its predecessor and s compatible with PO7.5? Is it so?

Also, I have heard that it is no more a plug in but a bundled software installation on SMP, is it so? Also can you please help me out on its installation and connectivity with SAP PO7.5?

Appreciate quick reply.

Thanks in advance

Howto dynamicly determine different communication Profile via payload values using HTTP Sender Channel

$
0
0

Hi all,

I've following scenario

3rd Party System (HTTP_AAE Sender)  --> PO 7.40 (IDOC_AAE) --> SAP ERP

A 3rd Party System has only one Gateway which is sending messages via HTTP Post to PO-System using the parameterized URL Format explained in SAP HELP

The challenge is that this 3rd Party System is sending Messages for two different plants and I want to see wether it's plant A or plant B (different iFlows) but due to the HTTP-Sender-URL I can only use "hard"coded SenderSystem Parameter, e. g. SenderService=SystemA and therefore all Messages are using the iFlow for SystemB

Of course I can use EDI_DC40 Segment in IDOC (which I'll send to SAP) to Change the Logical System via Message Mapping (and so in the target System everything Looks o.k.!) but in Messagemonitoring it is not possible to distiguish between those Systems because the use the same Sender channel.

Is there any possibility to achive this?

Thanks very much for your help.

Performance in SAP PO (bpm & brm)

Hi All,

This is regarding the Query related to ‘Process orchestration’ wherein I'm  designing a scenario using BPM & BRM.

Inputs are Collected, merged, validation check/confirmation, calculated from source systems and Automatic mail triggering to target systems.

Rules & Business logic are applied and Delivered to Target Net weaver Portal and ECC system.

I could like to know the Performance Speed,Scalability and also the Feasibility of using BPM and BRM when there are multiple source systems connected to PO 7.4 middle ware system. (Or) I would Like to know can we do this without BPM and BRM.

For example: In case if there 50 users processed from source system,  will this be processed in sequence through the pipeline process or in one shot. Can we set any timeline for the scenario.

Also I liked to know  default and maximum Size  accepted in PO 7.4 Java stack.

Please provide your inputs. Thank you very much in advance.

Error when opening one special IFLOW in NWDS

Hello,

I'm facing a java error when I'm trying to open one of our Iflows. I attached the error logs as jpgs.

My colleagues are able to open the Iflow and edit it. Can anybody help me? I already tried to delete it and generate it again. But I'm still not able to open it.

Revert Iflow to previous (older ) version in NWDS ? (PI 7.4 single stack)

$

Hi All,

We are on SAP PI 7.4 single stack and use eclipse based NWDS for creating IFLOWS and deploy the same in ID .

Problem :

One of the Iflow (in DEV) has now been recently changed and activated in NWDS, which has deleted few old configurations objects( communication channels , routing etc )

We do not find an option to revert to an older version of the IFLOW as its "Read only " mode .It provides option to "deploy" the old version only .But in that case the NWDS IFlow will still not be having all required objects .

One of the option we see to manually create the missing configuration objects in NWDS activate and redeploy new iflow .

Questions :

1 .If the IFLOW is changed manually ,activated and deployed , will the corresponding transport work good in Production as the deleted communication channels have to be created new ?

2. Please suggest if SAP has give an option to revert the iflow in NWDS to an older version ?

Thanks in Advance .

SAP PI java system properties file in NWA

Hi,

I have to access the Java system  property files of my PI system.

From the NWA I can easily navigate to the property page. But, my requirement is to know what is the file path where the file physically is stored.

We Go to SAP NWA -> Configuration -> Infrastructure -> Java System Properties -> Select Services tab -> Look for Service "Web Container".

Now once I select this service, the below table shows all the properties of this service.

If I want to access these properties within a program, I need to know the file path where this is stored in PI system. Can anyone help me?

Helpful answer will be rewarded.

Thank you!

SAP PI7.31(dual stack) to SAP PO 7.5

Hello Everyone,

Could someone guide me if it wise to move from SAP PI 7.31(dual stack) with only 4 small BPM scenarios to SAP PO(Single stack +BPM+BRM) 7.5?

I do understand that SAP has a Content migration tool to help move dual stack objects to a single stack.

However as I understand to utilize PO 7.5 to its true powers we need to create the I-Flows.

In this case should all the present scenarios should be built again from scratch.

I am currently looking at finding ways of cost reduction and time spent on the upgrade please suggest with the same.

Hi Experts,

I see below are the limitations in PI.

(a) multi mapping with dynamic configuration

(b) variable substitution with non XML content

Does these limitations resolved in PO? anyone aware of this? because i still see the issue in PO and not sure if this is limitation in PO or any config issue in my development.

Thanks,

Mohan.

Please if you are using this, let me know what are you doing.

Are you using REST for production scenarios?

what kind of secenarios do you recommend for REST in PO?

Is your backed architecture REST designed?
