Is there like a best practice or any documents or papers w.r.t performance on the PO? If so kindly post.

ID objects in distributed architecture

0
0

SAP PI distributed architecture contains one instance of central adapter engine with ESR and ID components and multiple instances of non central adapter engines. Non central adapter engines do not contain repository. The repository objects are distrubuted from central instance in runtime cache to non central instances.

as non central instances are near to the business systems, the active communication channels in each instance should be very specific to the instance. The runtime cache of all ID objects repository should not be propagated to each non central instance.

what is the best practice to maintain instance specific communication channels in runtime in SAP PI/PO distributed architecture?

Display Adobe forms on Sharepoint

Hi Experts,

Currently i am working on SAP TRM project where they have Adobe forms for the multiple business processes.

We have requirement that we need to display those Adobe forms developed in SAP TRM system on the Sharepoint , also the values to be entered in the adobe form from sharepoint which should be flow to SAP TRM.

I want to ask that whether it is possible with SAP PO 7.4 ??

I have read that there is some ADS configuration in SAP PO.

If this requirement is possible then how or NO then how the ADS configuration works ??

Integration Gateway in SAP PO

Dear Experts,

I have some question regarding to Integration Gateway in SAP PO SP13:

  • I found some documentation about IG in SMP 3.0 space: How to use Integration Gateway with SMP 3.0 (Part 2) Does IG in PO work the same way? Can we use these guides also for PO?
  • Is there already a SAP Netweaver Gateway Productivity Accelerator (GWPA) pluging for NWDS?
  • We have several EJBs, which we are published as SOAP Webservices. Basically we want to publish these as REST services using IG. Our goal is to consume these via UI5. What is the best approach here? I saw in the screenshots of the documentation above (How to use IG with SMP 3.0) that you can use SOAP Services as data source. Is it possible also to use EJBs as data source? I somehow have the feeling that EJB > SOAP > OData publishing is not the best approach.

Accessing a url from an email, and sending data to ECC

Hi experts,

I posted this in PI forum but didn't get any response. I a working in PO 7.4, single stack.

ECC system sends emails to users. The end user may check the email from Outlook or even phone. The email contains two urls, both identical except for the third value.

URL one contains, host:port/value1/value2/A

URL two contains host:port/value1/value2/R

A for acceptance and R for reject

The end user clicks on one of those urls, it will call a webservice, updates the values in the webservice and then the values need to be sent to ECC. The webservice has to be created in PI. Value 1 and value 2 keep on changing.

The end user can be out of the PI landscape. How can I achieve this using Process Orchestration?

IDOC_ERROR_PARSE_FAILURE: An IDocIllegalTypeException occurred while parsing IDocXML:state=READING_SEGMENT_STARTTAG

Hello Experts,

We are getting a strange issue while trying to post IDOC into ECC through PO 7.31 Single Stack.

We are having a custom segment in IDOC with a single field. If we don't create that segment in PO,i.e. if we don't map this segment the IDOC is getting posted. But if we map the custom segment(setting SEGMENT=1),we are getting error "com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.conn.idoc.IDocParseException: (7) IDOC_ERROR_PARSE_FAILURE: An IDocIllegalTypeException occurred while parsing IDocXML for type <*IDOC_NAME*>:

state=READING_SEGMENT_STARTTAG, charPosition=834, lineNumber=1, columnNumber=835".

I have gone through other discussion in scn related to this exception, but they are not similar to our problem.

Please suggest.

Suman

Dear PO Experts,

I have been struck with below issue since yesterday for dynamically determining the condition using an operation mapping .Could you please help me out as early as possible.

TestPO.jpg

I couldn't able to see my operation mapping for determining the receiver when right click on Recipient List and select Define dynamic condition .

There is a warning on Recipient List saying "Mapping is not defined for sender Business Component" .What does it mean ?

HTTP_AAE Receiver Configuration

Hello All,

I am configuring a Proxy (SAP) to HTTP_AAE (Third party) synchronous scenario with HTTPS URL . The third party receiver excepts the XML format and  provided us the dtd for structure definition.

When I trigger a message for the interface, it fails with the following error at the receiver end.

"Unknown Host Exception"

1.png

I have already done following.

a. Changed the host name to IP address but the error persisted.

b. Ping to channel from PI is successful.

c. The third party receiver url works well in browser and returns the response with blank field values.

d. I tried using SOAP Receiver adapter with No SOAP envelope option but it fails with "Peer certificate rejected by chainverifier".

e. I tried to make the scenario asynchronous.

f.  Although not an option here but I switched the https to http and it failed with a different reason. "Data is not repeatable"

Now I have following questions.

Q. 1 Does the error "Unknown host" ring any other bell ?

Q. 2 Is HTTP_AAE an option here at all??

Q. 2 Does the HTTP_AAE receiver adapter convert the XML payload into HTML format (Like with initial line, headers etc) or does it keep it in XML format only?

Any help would be really appreciated, thanks.

Call service task in an iFlow

Hello Experts,

I am trying to build an iflow which can call a web service synchronously get a session ID from it and add this session ID to the message which will be sent to the receiver system. I have come across the Call Service task while creating an iflow, but I am not sure how to use it.

Can somebody here throw some light on it?

After the BPM built, how can I build the iFlow for this BPM?

0

Hi Experts,

I'm trying to build my first simple BPM using the NWDS, but I dont have idea how can I build the iFlow (ID side) for this BPM.

My BPM is simple... It is a sync service interface in order to resolve an IP address (http://ws.cdyne.com/ip2geo/ip2geo.asmx?wsdl)

    (start)
        |

        |

[ResolveIP]

        |

        |

     (end)

Is there any complete step-by-step article "BPM + iFlow"? I couldn't find it!

I am using the following versions...

- SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.3 SP13 PAT0000
- SAP PO 7.4 (PI+BPM+BRM).

I've found some articles like "How to build a BPM", but without the iFlow side.-

Thanks in advance

Synchronous to Synchronous interface via SAP NW BPM

Hi Experts,

We have requirement in our project to build syn to sync interface via SAP NW BPM.

We are working on PO 7.4 (single stack) with BPM and BRM.

Presently triggering sender sync interface via SOAP UI.

Flow of the message:

SOAP UI <--> NW BPM <--> webservice application

We are getting this error in PO monitoring:

Delivery of the message to the application using connection JPR failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error processing inbound message. FaultException: com.sap.aii.proxy.xiruntime.core.ESPXISystemFaultException: Error encountered during processing of XI request message in inbound ESP; Hint: com.sap.engine.interfaces.webservices.runtime.RuntimeProcessException: Response did not arrive for request a3a9b128

Any pointers would be helpful.

Thanks,

Mandar

Hi,

I'm configuring  SOAP- JDBC synchronous  scenario. In jdbc receiver side is executed  store procedure and this sp inserts recor to one table from more table and  has a output parameter.

When i run webservice, in jdbc side occurs error. Store procedure run successfully and can insert record to table but return parameter is not coming to SAP PI so  timeout error ocuurs.

Our jdbc structure is as following:
